elastics popping off at night while sleeping

Hi Doc!

I've been having my elastics pop off at night-I check them before bed to make sure they're on right and they are on right-but when I get up in the middle of the night they've popped off!

I have a tricky elastic config. where I have to hook (hook looks like a butterfly) the elastic behind the eye teeth on top and then hook the elastic onto the front hooks of 2 bottom teeth (can't remember what they're called!).

Hi doc, just wanted to let you know I got an answer to this from my orth-he said they do pop off at night & that's normal. He joked & said as long as they don't pop off and fly at someone then I'm good to go. lol!
