Deep Bite..Can't Chew

Chris and Fins,

Thank you!!! I was thinking I was crazy. My bite is getting progressively worse though I know they are getting my teeth in line for surgery. While I had a significant overbite, it now feels like I have buckteeth! I swear, my front teeth can rest on my bottom lip if I let them. While my bite was always significantly off, I compensated and nobody ever noticed it. Now I feel it is positively glaring.

It is good to know that I am not alone. I know my orthodontist probably explained this all initially way back when but that was a time with information overload and I think I looked to the end result and not all the steps required to get there. Maybe!

Hmmmm... I don't believe I ever had a reverse curve wire? Is that for upper or lower arch?

I should add that I think the "flaring" might be exacerbated by the gaps and should they close it might have a very different look.
