Question about whitening toothpaste

Hi docs, i've been using whitening toothpaste for quite a while now. Even with braces on, i've read several articles about using this stuff during orthodontic braces and many concluded it was 'ok' to use it. Main reason they gave was that whitening toothpaste doesn't really work. So am i home free? Am i going to get 2 toned teeth after removal?? (i use peroxide free paste)

I switched because the information was inconclusive. I've used whitening toothpaste for years and have noticed a difference as have some people that I know. When I get the braces off, which will be 2+ years, I do not want to have spots where the braces were. I switched to another toothpaste, would rather be safe than sorry.

I use whitening a few times a week, regular the rest. I used white strips before my braces went on and a few times a year I would have to re-do them because my teeth would get yellow-ish again. Since my teeth were near their whitest when my braces went on, I am worried about them getting yellow everywhere except where the bracket is. I'm hoping the whitening toothpaste will even the colors out. One thing I have noticed is whitening toothpaste bleaches my ligs and you can hardly tell their color.

I don't use whitening toothpaste but I had a hard time finding a toothpaste that wasn't for whitening when I looked the other day. I think I wound up with Tom's of Maine.
