Hi,

I want to get braces soon. However I also want to go and work in New Zealand next year for a year as it is my last chance to avail of a working holiday visa. I'm just wondering if there is any way in which I can start treatment now for a year (I have overcrowding and have to get two teeth removed) and then get a retainer for a year and then come back and get the remainder of the treatment done?>???? Is trhis in anyway possible? I'm just having my top teeth done.

Sounds plausible but will probably have a hard time finding someone to do it. Why not just get braces and then go to New Zealand and have an orthodontist finish you there. Either way it will cost more $$ to change doctors or to have a treatment break.
