hooks and elastics

I have ceramic uppers (on 4 crowns no less) and metal lowers. So far, so good. The metal lowers ALL have hooks on them. My bottoms are a bit crowded and I currently have two spacers. I am just wondering HOW and WHERE the elastics are going to go??? My otho never even mentioned it in my "findings report." Thank you!

It will presumably vary depending on your specific requirements - you may not even need them at all. The "triangle" - which I have - seems to be quite a common configuration. But there are also multi-band, criss-cross configurations that people have.

Do you have any hooks on your upper brackets? Because that should indicate what - if anything - your ortho is planning to elastic.
