numbness?

Hi,
i just got my braces put in two days ago...it didn't hurt at all...my teeth was a lot more sore when i had the spacers in. well, when i eat, it is a bit sore, but other than that its not. but ever since i got the braces, my teeth feel like they are numb. like i got a numbing shot. and my ortho did not use any numbing shots. i'm wondering if this is normal?i can feel my back molars, but my front is numb. onlywhen i put a lot of pressure on them, then i feel a little pain. when i chew, i don't know if i'm chewing at all....normal???

I have numbness in my bottom front teeth too. I was wondering about it for awhile. I was braced just 2 days ago. I'll also call my ortho to see what he thinks.

I've had the same numbness in my bottom front teeth after new wire was put on. It gets better.

i guess i will give it about a week, and see how the numbness goes. its still numb. still eating soft food.
