This is a bit hard to explain, but I'll do my best. Optimally, are your teeth supposed to be directly across from eachother, as opposed to slightly diagonal? For example, if you were to take a line from the middle of your chin, and draw it to the back of your throat, should all of your teeth line up exactly across from eachother? Like this:
MOLAR==================MOLAR
Next Tooth----------------------Next Tooth
next1 ----------------------- next1
next2-----------------------next2
next3---------------------next3
front teeth
As opposed to something like this,
-------------------------Molar
Molar--------------------------next
next ------------------------- next1
next1 ------------------------next2
next2----------------------------next3
next 3-------------------
front teeth
This is sort of how the teeth on my bottoms are now, and I'm not sure if that's right. Thanks.
Are your teeth supposed to be exactly across?

SJade40, -- yes, they should be symmetrical. I just pulled out my mirror, and all my bottoms are asymmetrical (shifted over) as well. Not terribly shifted, just a few millimeters or so.
My midlines in front are also off, though, and it's part of my treatment plan to correct all these little problems eventually...
