Okay, so today I went for my first retainer appointment. I was wonderful. My ortho said I was doing an excellent job at wearing my retainer!! I'm so proud of myself. He did adjust it and my teeth are really sore, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I don't go back again until May WOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! Anyways, I just wanted to post my before and after pictures.

I am shocked cause my teeth were REALLY bad initially, but I love them now.

I got my braces on November of 2003 and they were FINALLY taken off on January 23, 2007. LONG TIME, but WONDERFUL RESULTS!

Full upper and lower metal braces put on May 12, 2005.

Braces free as of April 18, 2006!

Temporarily rebraced Nov. 21, 2006. ( I think I've moved past temporary. )

Brace free again - July 26, 2007.

Braced 20 Nov 06. Sentenced to 18-30 months. Released 23 Feb 09 (27 months and 3 days).
Uppers: 3M Clarity Ceramic. Lowers: Damon 3MX.
SARPE 21 April 06 and 7.5 months in expander (on for 2 weeks before surgery), turning to a width of 14.5mm.

Wow Tasha. That's a really great result, inspirational. Thanks for posting. You must be so pleased, I bet you can't stop smiling now. Hope I can be as pleased at the end of my treatment. Congratulations.

Lower jaw surgery was successfully performed December 18, 2006.
