cleaning retainers

My retainer gets deposits on it even though I brush it and use retainer brite. If I didn't use the retainer brite, I would never get the darn things clean. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes. I soak mine in a mixture of water and vinegar. It works, but again, its temporary...hard to keep them clean long. I seem to get white deposits on the edges of my hawley.
