getting them off..

I've had my braces for only 12 months and will be getting them off July 30th, 4 months early! What is it like to get them off? Is it as uncomfortable as it was when they put them on? I'm so nervous! I'm going to miss my braces.
Also, I am getting a permanent retainer behind my front top teeth because I had a 3mm gap. How do I wear the other retainers with a permanent one too?

Dont worry! The permanent retainer makes no difference to the removable retainer- slides on with ease. I have both and theres no problems. :wink:
The permanent retainer is a thin piece of wire- so thin it causes no disturbance.
