**My braces are GONE**

Hi sjsarre, thanks very much!

I last whitened about five years ago. I was planning on bleaching once my braces came off, but when my ortho polished my teeth, a lot of the more obvious surface staining that I had disappeared. You can't see it in my photos but right at the gum level I do have some age-related darkening of my teeth, and would like to touch up with bleach down the road.

For now, I am going to wait six months to a year so that my teeth will hopefully settle before paying to have new bleaching trays made.

Hi Shawnie! I couldn't remember the exact brand of bleach that I used, so I've left a message at my old dentist to see if they can check my chart and let me know. I'll get back to you as soon as they call me.

Shawnie, I found out the brand!

It was "Night White" in the black package. The dentist's office that I called said they don't use it anymore because the current bleach gel they are using, "White and Bright," seems to cause less sensitivity.

Thanks Granola - I'm going to ask my dentist if they have that brand. I think I will treat myself to bleaching when I'm all done with my braces.
