My clear essix retainer for my lowers cracked last night when I was cleaning it. It now has a tear of a couple of mm in it. I wore it to sleep and it felt the same and the crack didn't seem to gape when it was on.
Does anyone know if this can just be mended or I'll need a completely new retainer? My main concern is that I still have one very slightly loose tooth and I was told that proper retention would help it settle again.
