Wife's top teeth starting to overlap. will a retainer work?

My wife's teeth is starting to overlap do to top wisdom teeth pushing in. They came in straight but now thinks she needs a retainer after removal. Need some feedback

This happened to me, too, and I am in Invisalign right now to correct the overlap. It really depends upon how severe the overlap is as to what treatment will be best. My daughter has had a minor overlap on the lower arch corrected with a retainer, so it is possible.

I suggest a few consults with orthodontists. The problem is frustrating, but it can be fixed!
