Face widening

Hello all,


He is moving my bottom teeth forward and my top teeth back. Looks like my face is widening. Is this normal. I am not complaining. I like it.


Cant believe I am 7 months in braces. Wow, time goes fast.

I have heard of this happening with upper expansion and moving the uppers forward but not the lowers. Maybe other posters can step in to answer this.

I am also having my overcrowded uppers moved back (had IPR to make room) and my overcrowded lowers moved forward. I am more than half way through my treatment, and have not noticed any particular difference in my face shape. Can't say I pay that much attention though to be honest!
