My braces come off tomorrow! It's been 3 years, 1 month, 3 weeks and 3 days.
Has anyone got any horror stories about removals? I like to be prepared.

And also, any advice? I'm a little bit nervous that it's going to hurt.
Apparently I have to wait a week for my retainers.. are my teeth likely to move in this time?

Removal is pretty easy. They'll be off before you know it. The part some people find uncomfortable is when they grind the glue off. Nothing in this process hurts but if you have sensitive teeth the cold air or water they use could cause a bit of discomfort. But that only lasts a very short while so don't even worry about it. Most people go thru removal with no problems whatsoever, so I really doubt you'll have any.

It was a piece of cake and they gave me my braces as a souviner.
