Check to remove

So, my orthodontist set up an appointment for "check to remove" for Oct 24th. Does this mean I could get them off then? God I hope so!

It's certainly possible that you could get them removed on that date. However, when I saw something similar on my chart, it meant that they were going to be checked to see if they were ready for removal and a subsequent removal date was set. Either way, you're near the end...congrats!

I also went substantially beyond my original estimate so I know how you feel...hang in there...you'll be experiencing the joys of retainers in no time...ha-ha.

Well, I found out at yesterday's appointment that it was only a "Check to remove" like I feared lol. I did, however, get a removal date of 11/21! Now for the real countdown!
