Sorry for the large and weird pictures but I am totally satisfied with my smile and I'm excited to have them off. My retainer doesn't really bother me much at all (essix) and my gums are really puffy and sore but I've brushed my teeth maybe four times already because I am so excited to have free range of motion with my toothbrush and to floss! Yay! I have a perm bonded retainer on the bottom six. Good luck to everyone still on their journey.

Congrats, my.gums were also swollen when I got mines removed in September, ended up having to get new retainers because they wouldn't fit when the gum swelling reduced.
