1 month to debrace.

1 month to debrace.

#1 Post by Zonda »

I'm getting debraced on November the 3rd after what will be 3 years and one month! I had Orthognathic surgery last December and I can't wait to see the final results. One problem though is that despite brushing religiously my teeth are quite badly discoloured, what have people found best for getting them whitened?

Congratulations! I too am expecting to be debraced on October 29 after a three year stint with braces. My general dentist is recommending the Kor system, which seems very expensive. I still need to do research on the product, however. I know others have found good results with over the counter products such as those from Crest.

Sorry I don't know what the Kor system is or indeed most of the terms used on here! In England we just get told we're getting braces! Still, at least I don't pay for them.

My general dentist is recommending the Kors system too when my braces come off. I'm a little leery about paying about 1000.00 for a whitening that I can do for less. My teeth don't have a lot shades of whitening to do anyway. I think I'm going to try "white for life". It's 99.00, they make trays, then do the first treatment in the office. After that they give you maintenance packs at every 6 month cleaning appt that you do at home.
