IM IN LOVE!!!*DEBANDED*

If you have finished with your orthodontic treatment and are wearing retainers (or will be soon), this is a special place to connect with others in your (enviable) situation. Ask a question or make a comment about life post-braces.

An Essix can be used for minor tooth movements. My top essix was made so it will move my canine back a smidge. You are right tho' an essix can't be 'adjusted'. A new retainer will have to be made for any adjustments in tooth movement. A Hawley can be tweaked without making a new retainer.

My ortho used a tool called a "bird's beak" and dimpled the retainer to move 4 teeth.
