I finally got them off!!! I have to be honest, the removal was not pleasant and my teeth feel kind of strange now, but it was all worth it. The removal of my ceramic uppers felt like my ortho was chipping chunks off my teeth, but all of it DID come off- no harm done. My molar bands came off pretty easily, but as some of you have posted, it did kind of smell funky. I went to my general dentist afterwards and I still have no cavities, thank goodness! I had seriously considered just doing veneers to straighten my smile, but now I'm so thankful that I have a mouthful of natural healthy straight teeth!!!
I have only posted on this site a few times, but I have read hundreds of comments from you guys, and it has been a real inspiration, especially when my mouth was killing me and I was getting discouraged about having braces at my age in general.
I will be sure to post before and after pics next week after my Zoom whitening!!
Thank you guys for giving me and my teeth a little hope!
