I have not been on this board for months, but this is too big a news not to pass on.
I have a date for debonding!
Yesterday my ortho arranged for two appointments in a row, one week apart. First is April 14 for impressions for retainer, and the big day will be April 23! For now he switched out the archwire for a "finishing wire" with a twist tie underneath, and power chains on top "7 to 7" ie. across all teeth sans wisdom s.
30 months in braces, looking forward to a life of not constantly biting into my inner lip corners!
