Question about d-day

I'm supposed to get my braces off on Thursday and I was wondering if my ortho is supposed see if any of my teeth need to be file down so that my bite is even? What besides taking off the brackets, glue and mold for the retainers is supposed to happen that day?

My dentist is going to whiten, file to make then even, and cosmetically fill any small gaps that might be left. He's pretty good about this kinda stuff.
