I am very pleased to annouce that I am now naked! Yesterday morning my braces were taken off after a little over 3 years. Debanding was simple and relatively painless although I did almost choke on two brackets that got away from the assistant. I am now the proud owner of an Essix retainer for the top and a bonded retainer on the bottom. I have been instructed to wear the Essix 24/7 for TWO YEARS but we'll see if that changes when I go back for my retainer check in two weeks. I will be posting some after pictures when I get a moment this weekend so that I may share my newly liberated smile!
