I'm happy to have crossed the road to the other side today. I got debanded today. Thanks to the advice from everyone here, it went very well. I took a pain pill before and I think that alleviated a lot of the pain from the sensitive teeth. I'm starting to feel it now, but the giddiness is taking over.
I got permanent retainers on top and bottoms put on before taking the braces off, so I didn't get to feel naked. I might have the ortho shave one of the bottom teeth, but otherwise, I'm happy with the results.
