Anxious and Nervous, Braces Off Tomorrow!

#1 Post by cybersiren »

I am *hopefully* getting my braces off tomorrow. My appointment was supposed to be for 10:40 but when they called me today to remind me, they said to come in at 10:00 so I'm guessing that's to give them extra time to take them off! I am excited but nervous. I remember what it was like having them off the first time and I'm not looking foward to the pain. But in a few minutes I will floss my braces for the last time! I can't wait to see my results tomorrow!

AND THEY"RE OFF!!!!! No pain , barely any discomfort and only very minimal gum swelling around just a couple teeth! Yay! That was 100x better than the last time I had braces. That dental hygenist was amazing! I'm sending her flowers. She rocks!

I am very happy. I will post pics as soon as I can get batteries for my camera. The only issue I have is that when I wear my tooth positioner, I have a couple teeth that bleed. I floss and use salt water rinses like I'm supposed to so I'm hoping that it's just a little irritation from the removal process and that it will stop soon.
