So my dentist says there's gum recession on my two front lower teeth that could be due to having braces (got my braces off 3 years ago, and I'm currently 18 years old.) Looking at it right now I don't really notice anything, but they say it could potentially get worse and its best to treat it.
I'm just wondering if anybody had a similar situation and maybe if you have some information on the procedure?
I've been looking over the boards for something similar but can't find a solid peice of information.
Any comments greatly appreciated
Question: Gum recession after braces?
Moderator: bbsadmin
I had gum graphing prior to braces and it wasn't a fun thing. After having braces I started to get recession on the same area due to brushing too hard and having getting around the brackets.
I don't think I want to go back to the procedure.
