Sadly, I don't have any before pictures on hand, and the only after picture I have is kind of bad, but hey--it's good enough! I'm proud of my chompers. I can't remember how they looked before, but the only reason I was in braces was to prevent molar rotation and a teensy bit of overlapping in the front.

It's been a fun, painful, interesting, spectacular, and unforgettable journey...but now I get to deal with a whole slew of post-metal problems!
The main thing I'm dealing with now is watching my enamel slowly wear off. This frightens and confuses me, because I've been brushing better than ever now. I may be misinterpreting it, but I can see the thicker white stuff inside my tooth--the pulp--and the surrounding enamel is becoming more and more translucent.
I tried countering it with some enamel-building toothpaste, but I haven't seen much of a different.
Any advice/help? I'm mortified at the moment, because I survived braces, and I don't want to lose my pearly whites!
