I was just wondering how long braces usually stay on. I got braced on January 20, 2006. I had 4 extractions because of crowded and an overjet. My top teeth were pretty straight to begin with. My bottom needs to be straighten.
It's getting frustrating waiting for things to happen. BTW - I'm now 45 years old! LOL
My sister is a DA and told me that the longest she's heard of is 4 years! I can't wait that long!

I know someone who had braces for almost 5 years!! He said he was young and couldn't remember why it took so long....but his teeth now aren't that great and he wished he'd worn his retainers!
