After 26 months, I'm finally braces-free!

I'm thrilled with the results! The crowding was resolved in about eight months, but the crossbite took a LOT longer to fix. I was convinced I would be the one in a million that ends up with white squares where the brackets were, but I guess I did a good job keeping them clean. All that's left now is to do a little whitening after I have my cleaning tomorrow. I have Essix retainers, and after filing down the edges a little they are pretty comfortable. I'm wearing them full time for three months, then I go back to the ortho and I'll probably just wear them at night after that. This was, hands down, the BEST thing I've ever done for myself. I can't stop smiling!
