I got my braces off on Feb 11, 2009 - exactly 7 months and 2 weeks after they were put on.

I did the Powerprox 6 month braces and I am thrilled with the results.

Here are my teeth in week 1 with braces:

I am in shock that after 40 years with crooked teeth - they are finally straight!!!!!

I'm on month 24 of my braces, so it's hard for me to imagine how it happened so fast! But they look super. I'll bet you can't stop smiling!

Hello!

First off congrats on such a beautiful smile!!

I just wanted to ask a couple of questions regarding the process. I also live in toronto and have been thinking about correcting my teeth. I was wondering if you could tell me who your dr. was? Also, I read your first posts and how u mentioned at the start how hard it was. How long did it take you to get used to them?

I am sorry it took me so long to answer some of your questions, I am not on here much anymore since I was de-braced

Someone asked who my dentist that did my braces is? I hope I can post his name here, as I have not read thru the board rules and I am not sure we are allowed to do that? Anyways, I will, and the worst that can happen is that this post gets pulled.

Wow you're teeth look great! I can't believe it took only a little over 7 months. I'm now on year seven month one and get to find out wednesday if they finally get taken off! (:

It took such a short amount of time, because the only thing we were fixing was my crooked teeth and no bite issues (I didn't have any bite issues to begin with)

I see that your braces came off! Will you be posting pics soon????
