I still need some whitening and gum contouring done and a filling replaced on the #9 tooth that was chipped as a child. I have a fixed retainer on the bottom and will get one on the top also after the filling is done. In the meantime I am wearing a Trutane retainer the majority of the time as well as wearing one on the bottom while I sleep. I will also get a Hawley for the top after my fixed retainer is in place. I guess my ortho prefers the Hawley over the Trutane for the top, but doesn't have a preference either way on the bottom?
Overall, I am so happy with the results! This is the best gift I could have ever given myself.

Closeup. The crown of my left central incisor is about two thirds the size of the right one, making my smile appear off, not to mention that my lip just happens to be a little higher on that side when I smile. My ortho can only remove about 1 mm of gum tissue so I am still debating whether or not it will be worth the pain.
