I had 12 lower trays and 15 upper trays. Once I was finished with the uppers, my ortho had me wear them full time for an additional four weeks before going to nighttime wear. They took a mold of my teeth and gave me a set of clear retainers. I basically have two sets of retainers - my last invisalign trays and the new ones my ortho made.
This is only day 2 with the new retainer trays, but they fit very tight, and when I wake up in the morning my teeth are pretty sore. Is this normal? If they are still sore in 2-3 weeks should I have them take new impressions? Thanks in advance.
