I really am desperate to get my braces back. After 18 months of having them,
I got them off in March 2010, and about 4 months after I longed to have them back.
I always got boring blue colours, and I never really smiled in pictures while having
braces. I actually want to have braces and everything again. Does anyone know
what I'm going through?

Not really. This is my 2nd round, and after 29 months, I can't wait to get them off on the 20th. The rinsing, flossing, brushing routine, and endless adjustments, are nothing short of exhausting. Although I'm pleased with the results, and will probably have permanent and/or essix retainers for a l-l-o-o-o-o-n-n-g-g time (possibly for the rest of my life), I NEVER want to go through this again.

I'm not sure this post is sincere, but if it is, why would you be "desperate" to get braces again? Have you had an extensive relapse that would warrant another round of braces?

There's a little sense of loss, but I don't want them back on again.
