I got my braces off today and am so excited! I was shocked at how much I liked them when they came off and I looked in the mirror for the first time.
I got the clear retainers, I think they're called essex? Anyways, even though they are clear and you cannot see them at all, I hate them because they are making me gag and the edges are sharp. The ortho trimmed them a little, but you can't really trim them too much otherwise I don't think they'd stay on.
Overall I'm happy...I could look at them in the mirror and nitpik stuff but they look so much better than they did before, and my teeth were fairly straight to begin with.

LOL wow those teeth look really big since that photo is just BLOWN up. They look great! Too bad many people will never get that kind of a look at them
