Retainer question

I havnt worn my retainer in a little over a year, will it be ok if I just start wearing it again? My teeth have shifted just a little bit, do I need to go to the orthodontist to get it adjusted or can I just wear it?

If it still fits, you should be able to start wearing it again. You may have some sensitivity/soreness for a few days, but I would wear it continuously until that subsides. After that, you'll probably want to wear it a few nights a week to keep things in place.

If it no longer fits, you'll need to have the ortho adjust it. Good luck.

How did you get on? I'm in the same position as you. Did wearing the retainer work?
