I had my braces removed 1 week ago (I wore them for 26 months) -- I love how my teeth look, but I started to experience jaw pain (left side) the day after debanding (discomfort when I chew or smile). I wear a clear plastic retainer at night for 10-12 hrs. I am going to contact my orthodontist tomorrow to consult with her about this. However, I am curious if others have experienced this and what was done, how long it lasted, etc. Thanks in advance to any who share their experience!
