What is easier to clean: Sonicare Advance or Elite?

My Advance worked well, but just broke after 2 yrs of use. Wondering if I should get the Elite now. I have 3 unused brushheads for Advance. Also- I hated cleaning out the gunk every 3rd day on the Advance (my biggest complaint--you need a Sonicare to clean a Sonicare). Any rec's for me? Is Elite easier to clean? Thanks!

I found there was a learning curve for both. Eventually you will learn to use the brush so that the inside stays dry. I was upset when i went from the advance to the elite because i had learned how to use the advance so that no gunk/toothpaste/etc got in the head or the handle. Then I just had to learn to use my elite like that.

I have heard the elite cleans 30% better.................
