Waterpik stopped working today

I've had my WaterPik since I got my braces about 1 1/2 years ago. Today, it stopped working. The motor sounds like it is working. I'm getting a drizzle of water when the nozzle is down and none at all when it is up. I can't find calcification anywhere. I replaced the nozzle with a new one and nothing. Any suggestions?

Sometimes that happens to me when the container that holds water isn't really firmly planted on the base...

In addition to the tip offered above, make sure the supply line is not kinked, especially where it emerges from under the main body.
