Cleaning waterpik
Does anyone have any suggestions about cleaning the inside of the waterpik? I just got one and have ridiculously hard water at my house that will probably clog it up at some point.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Maybe white vinegar?
I would contact the company and ask them.
It might be a good idea perhaps for you to use distilled water inside the device instead of tap water. That way it won't get gooked up with minerals.

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!

Just like your coffee pot. Run the machine with vinegar, let the vinegar sit for 15 minutes, run again and then empty and rinse with water. In New Mexico I had to do that every 3 months.

Very hard water outta the faucet here. I keep a gallon of distilled water under the sink and run a small amount of it through the unit after every use. Periodically, I'll put a small amount of 12% chlorine solution in the reservoir along with the distilled water.

I personally use distilled water instead of tap water in my water-pik...
Re: Cleaning waterpik
I run a mix of vinegar and peroxide through mine periodically!
