I ♥ My Lip Balm and Stress Ball!

#1 Post by Braceface121905 »

I just got braced yesterday, and I am already using lip balm like crazy. I also am using my stress ball a lot!

Right now, I am in a dilemma on what to eat for breakfast, because I hate dairy products, and they are about the only soft breakfast stuff. I want pancakes, but we're out of mix, and I don't feel like going to the store~ Any ideas on soft breakfast? P.S. I hate oatmeal and cream of wheat!

Do you like scrambled eggs? They are soft to eat and easy to make.

Toast is ok if your teeth are not super tender.
Other suggestions: waffles, a banana. Possibly other fruit if your teeth are not too tender for them.
A smoothie.

What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Metal braces from March 24, 2005 until July 30, 2007. Estimate was 18-24 months, but I had them for 28 months.

Boost! Drink some boost. I lived on it the first 2 months I was braced... I would have one or 2 cans within in the first 3 hours I was awake, and would have lunch usually 6-7 hours after I woke up.

I love the multi-flavor packs of Boost, Butter Pecan and Chocolate Malt are my favourites. Don't ever try Ensure though.... Boost tastes MUCH better and Ensure has a very weird consistancy to it. Boost was a lot easier to drink than instant breakfast too.

How about some cereal that gets soft the longer it sits (e.g., Chex, Rice Krispies). You can use soy or rice milk instead of cow's milk if you like.
