I use many different kinds of toothpaste, is that a bad thing?
In the mornings I use Sensodyne Pronamel (I really don't like the taste of it), a regular toothpaste during the day & at night, usually Colgate, and I am on a prescription toothpaste Prevident that I'm to use after brushing & flossing at night. Also my ortho gave me a floride rinse I have to use once a week. Did anyone else get that?

Crest or Colgate.. whichever one is on sale!!

I am in the UK and use Boots expert orthodontist toothpaste. It is thicker than normal toothpaste but I don't know whether it is much different otherwise. I also use Boots orthodontic mouthwash each night.

I use both aquafresh and sensodyne pronamel. I might try the trader joe's kind when I run low on my current tube.

I love Crest Pro-Care....maybe I'm just crazy but it just lathers up(does toothpaste lather?) so great and cleans better than other brands I have tried

I use Tom's of Maine wholecare toothpaste

Colgate seems to be the best value for its price.

I use sensodyne pronamel.
Since having braces my teeth have been exceedingly sensitive, way way more than before.
I find it helps....mostly bc the only couple of times I got a cheaper toothpaste I could feel the increase in sensitivity within several days. When I go back to sensodyne it goes back down.

Re: What type of toothpaste do you use?
My orthodontist prescribes me Colgate Prevident 5000, which is a special paste with a higher concentration of fluoride that's supposed to prevent decay/plaque build-up. I use the Prevident at night, then Colgate whitening toothpaste in the morning.
For my 'regular' toothpaste though, I'm thinking of switching to Arm & Hammer; anyone have any feedback/experience/success with that brand they care to share?

Re: What type of toothpaste do you use?
I use Colgate Total quite often, and I also keep a travel size of Crest Pro Health that my dentist gave me in my purse just in case I go out to a restaurant or the movies and need to brush afterwards

Re: What type of toothpaste do you use?
I've used Arm & Hammer extra whitening for years, and love it. I also use whatever fluoride rinse my orthodontist gave me, though I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it.
