Here's what I got after being braced today...

Oral-B Triumph toothbrush :D
manual Colgate small toothbrush
Lip balm
and full sizes of the following:
Pink Listerine Smart Rinse
Crest Pro Health mouthwash
Crest Pro Health toothpaste
GC MI Paste Plus (use at night to prevent white spots)
baggie full of wax strips since they are out of wax pkgs
and my original molds... all in a nice canvas tote.

I was pleasantly surprised, but it's not like I didn't pay for all this stuff in my treatment anyway!

WOW! My orthodontist didn't give me ANYTHING except a list of acceptable foods and what not. He didn't even go over how to floss or anything (I had no idea how to floss for the longest time). AND, I have to ask for brace wax, and even then, it's not the nice silicone wax, it's the cheap wax that comes in a small manilla envelope. And that was a one time thing (when I first got them on).

This is a neat thread. I was just laughing about what they told, and showed me, that I would be getting when they put my braces on. It's some crazy expensive electric toothbrush. I think it's an OralB professional. It was just so funny because they act like it's some prize to earn and be excited about.

Judging from other users 'gifts' from the orthodontists I think I came in pretty good, but no T-shirt darn it!

Oral B Superfloss
Glide Threader (Shreader?) floss
Floss Threaders
2 Travel toothbrushes
Acclean Floss
A spooky unlabeled floss container
Regular size toothbrush with a brush pick at the end
Wax
2 nice durable and colorful folding cards "Problem foods and Helpful Tips" and Orthodontic Brushing and Flossing Procedures"

I haven't had to use wax but twice.
Clear uppers and lowers installed.
Treatment Time Expected: 12-18 months

Oh yeah, one orthodontist I went to gave me a really high treatment price quote and then showed me the $100 electric toothbrush that I could buy from him for $20!!. You'd think he would just give you the brush after paying $6K+!!
