Oral B Orthodontic Brushheads

#1 Post by NiceSmile »

For those of you who use an Oral B toothbrush with this brushhead, did you have to order yours special or online? I've been to my local drugstores and grocery stores and haven't seen it. Any suggestions for the best place to find?

Thanks

Got mine on eBay. $6 for a 2-pack(!) - which meant 2 of the ortho heads and two of the "power tips". I bid for and won 2 in a "dutch auction" with 20 available.

So 4 sets total, or a year's supply, for $12 plus shipping. I was very pleased.

Seller was whammy11111.

Yes, I think they're a regular seller. Which is good! Can't beat that price.

There have been at least 3 more of those auctions since the first one I participated in. I just bid on another one over Christmas for 2 more 2-packs and brought my total supply up to 8 sets of the brushheads, with a total outlay of $32.

Considering retail price is $21.99 for a 2-pack, I think that's pretty darn good!

Hopefully the 8 I have now will last me though my entire treatment (18-20 months).

Can anyone tell me how quickly they wear out? I know braces are hard on brushes...

I got these for Christmas along with an Oral-B electric toothbrush. The brush heads are great. The "ortho" brush head is just like using a regular orthodontic toothbrush except it spins. It's good! The "power tip" one I use under the wire to get stuff out of, after my proxy brush but sometimes instead of it. It’s also very good!

I also use the regular brush head that came with my electric sometimes to get out food like chips that need more bristles to get it out.

I don't know how long they'll last but I'm thinking about the same as a regular toothbrush.

Overall I'd recommend them!! :D

I just love the small brush

It's amazing for getting between teeth under the wire. I don't know what I would do without it.

I'm in Canada and found them a Shoppers Drug Mart.

Perhaps you could ask at your drug store if they could order it in for you? It would depend on the store, but I've done this before with another product and they were happy to do so.

Yeah what's the deal with the oral-b brush heads not sold in stores? Anywhere I go where I think they will have them I make sure to check and they are not there. I gotta find some online soon! Ebay sounds good
