rubber bands

hey guys i've got what my orthadintist calls up dow rubber bands to bring one side of my upper pallet down to mach the other side i've been wearing 4oz 'ers for a few weeks and it looks worse than when it started they gave me an overbite and havent started to fix the problem and i am wearing them on both sides so why is it not bringing the one side down and giveing me an overbite

its making me very frustrated :evil:

I know its been a long time since you posted the question, but maybe this will help. i just got rubberbands, and had the same concerns you did, i talked to my boyfriend about it, he had braces a few years before me, he said that they may give me a few different rubber band locations. so the one i have now may pull my bite one way, even its more the i need, but later they give me different rubber band location to even it out. if that makes sense. hope this helps.
