Sonicare Electronic Toothbrush question

Hello everyone-
I have been using my Sonicare for almost a year. All of a sudden, the battery dies all the time. I can charge it, the light shows it is fully charged, then I go to use it, and the green light blinks and the toothbrush stops.
Is this normal? I guess I thought the thing would never die....

I am pretty sure this is not normal. I charge mine only about every three weeks.

I went to their website last night and they offer live 24/7 IM'ing with customer support.
So I started a chat and they will be sending me a new unit. Apparently she thinks my handle is faulty.
I almost bought a new one at Walmart this weekend. I am so glad I didn't because there is a 2 year warranty and I didn't even know it. I didn't need a receipt or a purchase date. She was able to tell I was still under warranty by the numbers inside the toothbrush.
After having a Sonicare, I don't know what I would do without one. I am so happy to save some money!

This is a nice break. I'm like you and would have just bought a new one! Did you have to register it in order for her to know who was associated with those numbers?
