Sorry for the lack of updates. I havent seen much of an improvement in my teeth until now. Im very pleased with what I see. My teeth are gapping and being pushed forward like they should be. My next ortho appt is Thursday October 5th and Im excited to see what we are doing next.
I still have the expanders ina nd am still haveing problems talking with them sometimes. I get tongue tied alot and slur my words which can be pretty embarassing. Here is a shot when I first started and one from tonight for comparison. Sorry about the food in my teeth didnt notice it until I loaded the picture. Of course I had to go brush right after I seen that! GROSS!
Went to the ortho today. Just had an adjustment. My next appt is December 14 and I will be fully braced! WOOHOO! Ive been waiting on this forever. Im excited!
Thought I would update with a picture. This was taken tonight November 3, 2005. Im very impressed with my bottom teeth and cant wait to be fully braced!
Im just nervous about my top teeth.. They are looking worse than they did before the braces/expander. Do they get worse before they get better or what?
yes...that's the way things are going...first worst then better
so, look on the long term perspective...and be happy

Less than a month until Im fully braced! WOOHOO! Hope it gets here soon.
Thought i would post some pics of how my teeth have seemed to get worse. My bottom teeth look good I think ! Its my top Im worried about!
I really wish I would have been keeping up with this thing! I havent been keeping up with taking pictures either. Im not as impressed with my teeth as I would like to be. I cant com plain though! My orthodontist is finishing my treatment for free. When I was 18 I was on the medical card and found this orthodontist that accepted it . I was under the impression they took it out as a lump sum payment. His staff only once ask me to see the medical card the whole time I was therel I didnt think much of it. I got a new job and lost my medical card. About 5 months ago they ask to see the card and I told them I no longer had it. They were a little upset and my ortho told me I would have to pay him $1800 upfront which I didnt have. I told him this and ask him if I could pay payments which he cant allow me to do for some reason. He than decided that he would do his best to close the gaps before removing the braces. Than he eventually decided he was just going to finish my treatment free of charge. I begged him to let me pay him in payments. He wont allow it, Im SOOO VERY thankful tho! He will never know how much I appreciate what he is doing!
Fast foward to 8/6/06
I went in and they deactivated my springs on my top palate expander and put on some new wires and Im now having to wear elastics! They are sooo painful! Hes wanting me to wear them 24/7 even while eating.. Ive already cheated once today and took them out to eat!! SSHHH!
SO its just about over! My last appointment I was molded for my top retainer. My top braces will be removed next appt! November 15th! He put a powerchain back on. Which I dont understand! I can feel my teeth moving and they are sore. So I know they are. I believe he is going to continue to work on my bottom teeth for until they are done. Here are some pics through out my treatment.
Dont mind the most recent pictures . My teeth are soo horribly yellow. Way too much starbucks I think! Cant wait to have them whitened!!!
