Victorias braces - 3.rd adj. - new pics;)

#1 Post by Victoria »

Hi!
I am a 26 year old female and I got my braces 6 weeks ago for the second time around. I had braces for two years when I was 12. But then my wisdomteeth came in, and made a mess of everything. I have severe crowding and my midline is off.
After finding this site I found some new confidence and found a very clever ortho. I have lingual uppers, and will have ceramic lowers.
I had my first adj. two days ago and have had alot of pressure pain.

I will post pictures as soon as I can.

Thank you so much for this site! It has been fantastic reading storys, I have learnt so much;)

Have a christmas filled with laughter and love :D

Thank you for all your replies!

Well, I had my 2. adj. today!! I was looking forward to what the ortho thought of my teeth and the movement.
She did not do to much, changed archwire to a stronger one, put on new ligs and lacebacks. But she did say that my second tooth next to my front tooth on the left is falling nicely into line.
What she is working on now is trying to shift my midline, because it is really off to the left. I still have one tooth (second on the right) that cannot be connected to the archwire before my midline is slightly more shifted.

But I am overall happy about my appointment :D I will take photoes and put them out on my blog as soon as my husband comes home from. He is away skiing for a week.

Hi!!

Sorry for not posting in such a long time!! Thank you KK for your engouragement!!

I had my 3 rd adjustment yesterday, and my teeth hurt like h.....!!!!!! She at last attached my nr 2 tooth on my left side to the archwire with some elastic, she also changed the wire from nr 16 to a cobberwire?!
The extractiongap on the right side is closing nicely, while the one on the left is taking its time... but it will start closing sone I feel..... :D

I have taken some new photos today, and put them out on my blog. I hope that you all see changes!!
