PK story UPDATE

So I guess I had better give you the details on my metallic-story.

I had an overbite of 13 mm, which will have surgery sometime in the next 6-8 months.

From October 2005-March 2006 I had an RPE on my upper jaw to widen it.

November 2005 I got my bottom braces

March 2006 Got the RPE taken out then after 2 minutes of freedom, I had my top braces put on.

May 2006 2 extractions from the top jaw.

June 2006 Overbite is only 8 mm now.

November-February (?) Surgery.

I am booked for surgery for the 30 March 2007.

Would anyone be able to give me tips and advice for how to deal with the physical and emotional aspects of the surgery as I am truly scared and am terrified of pain?
