Last wednesday 10/11/2006 I went to my ortho's to take away the RPE but he said my teeth were still too much soft. So he decided to keep on the RPE and to add the real brace at the next appointment.

Its a shame it couldn't be done this time, but at least it looks like your next appointment should be good...

Last tuesday 10/24/2006 my ortho has finally putted braces un my upper teeth.
The process has been fast and painless but for the few following days i couldn't bite anything because it hurted.
Now it's getting better.

Hey Luca!
Glad to hear you've gotten braced! I guess it does hurt quite a lot during the first days but afterwards it's just great! They will end up feeling like a part of yourself!
I've never had one of those devices but I think they work really well, a lot of people here have them!

I hope you get the chance to post some pictures for us! I love pics!

Last tuesday 11/15/2006 my ortho has taken my RPE away!!!
I had been living with it for 8 month.
I can touch again my palate with my tongue.
I feel good!

I had been lazy in the last few months and I didn't update my story,
so let's try to make a summary.
The 12/13/2006 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures.
After a week a fistula came out over my right upper 4th but I decided to wait
untill the next appointment for a visit.
The 01/17/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures and told me that the fistula ment
the tooth was dead and I had to devitalize it.
The 01/22/2007 my dentist devitalized it.
The 02/07/2007 my dentist medicated the devitalized tooth.
The 02/14/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures.

The 03/07/2007 my dentist closed the root channel of the devitalized tooth.
The 03/14/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures and told me we are almost ready for the lower brace.
The 03/19/2007 my dentist reconstructed the devitalized tooth.

The 04/10/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures leaving untied the 3rd and 4th upper left teeth so that the 4th had more pulling power.
The 05/02/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures leaving untied the 3rd and 4th upper left teeth so that the 4th had more pulling power.
The 05/29/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures leaving untied the 3rd and 4th upper left teeth so that the 4th had more pulling power.
The 06/26/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures leaving untied the 3rd and 4th upper left teeth so that the 4th had more pulling power.
The 07/11/2007 my ortho replaced the bracket ligatures leaving untied the 3rd and 4th upper left teeth so that the 4th had more pulling power.
