Congratulations artmomz

You've got nice teeth. I bet they'll straighten really well. Good luck with your high needs 8 year old. I have two high needs teenage girls, one in braces with me at the present.

Thank you! :)

I took my son with me to my last two visits. He will need braces, and I want to be an example to him in order to make it easier for him when it's his turn...

Thank you...and I'm not really worried about it. Unless someone is using it for their voodoo doll and pushing pins through it...that might concern me....

I think they said that the bottoms will go on around the 2nd or 3rd appointment. And he said they'd come off probably around 2 years...give or take a couple of months or so.

I'd say probably a little bit longer than 2 years. I think he was just trying to keep from scaring me by telling me it could be more or less. I have his facial expression burnt into my brain. It was definitely one that said, "She might need a little bit longer than 2." :D

Those voodoo dolls are killer...

I think we are in the same two year boat. My ortho has be down for two years of treatment but from his repeated comments about it maybe taking longer I'm not holding fast to the two year time frame.
